Instructions for Contributors/Authors

Since its launch in 1990, Liquid Crystals Today, the newsletter of the International Liquid Crystal Society, has been welcomed by the liquid crystal community as a unique forum for feature articles, book reviews, conference reports and various news items relating to liquid crystal scientists, events and developments. Liquid Crystals Today will be of interest to those concerned with liquid crystal science and technology; this includes chemists, physicists, biologists, materials scientists and device engineers.

Submission of articles

Please submit your article, preferably in electronic form direct to the Editors. If you are unable to submit via email, please send the disk, along with 1 paper hard copy using double-line spacing single sided A4 paper. Articles must contain suitable heading and sub-headings and references should be numbered serially in the text in square brackets. Journal titles should be abbreviated according to the Chemical Abstracts Service Source Index (CASSI). Diagrams and figures should be high quality originals if the electronic copy is not provided. There is no limitation on colour, or the use of animation or video clips and authors are encouraged to make use of these media in their work.

Jobs and Product Advertisements

Liquid Crystals Today online has a rapidly updateable section advertising jobs. Liquid Crystals Today also welcomes the inclusion of advertisements of liquid crystal related products and company news. Please submit your contribution via one of the editorial board or to Alex Seed as above.
