Help: Sign In

I entered my username and password but I received an error message telling me that my account was not activated. What does this mean?
When you register you are sent an email. You must select the link in this email to activate your account. If you have not received the email please contact customer support and they will reissue your activation email.

The link in the Registration Confirmation email you sent does not work.
If the link does not work when you click on it, please copy and paste it line by line into your browser's address box.
If you continue to have problems please contact customer support and they can reissue your activation email.

I have forgotten my login name and/or password
If you have forgotten your password, select the Sign In link.
Next to the boxes where you would normally enter your username and password there is a forgotten password link.
Enter your username and/or email address and a new password will be provided.
If you cannot remember the original email address you entered when registering for this service, and have forgotten your username (Sign-In) and password, please submit a question using the Submit a Question service.

How can I reset my username and / or password?
You can change your username and password by logging into the website using your existing username and password.
Click on ‘My Account’
Click on ‘edit details’
Change your username and password details, and click Update Account.

How do I sign in using an Athens username and password?
Select the Sign In link.
Next to the boxes where you would normally enter your username and password there is an Athens SSO link. Select this link and you see a new window with sign in boxes.
Enter your Athens username and password on this form and submit.
You will have access to your organization's subscriptions to publications on this website.
Note: If you have signed in on another service, you only need to select the Athens SSO link to identify yourself. You will not need to sign in again.

Why can't I access an article when using my Athens login?
There are two possible reasons for your difficulties accessing our articles through your Athens login; either your institution does not have a subscription to that particular item or your session has been timed out.

Is the username and password case sensitive?
Yes, the username and password are case sensitive

Note that you can use your informaworld login for this website but you will not alerts or marked lists you have set up on informaworld.
