Sharp adds another monitor to its range

This month Sharp announced the release of a ‘high end’ application LCD monitor. The LL-T1810A has an 18” screen and combines a Sharp panel with Sharp's Black TFT anti-glare, anti-reflection technology. With a high contrast level and high brightness, the monitor is designed for performance in difficult light conditions.

Tom Satterthwaite, Sharp’s LCD Product Marketing Manager comments: ‘The UK display market is currently experiencing great change. Sharp is one of the world's largest manufacturers of LCD panels and we are leveraging this manufacturing power to keep our position at the high-end of the market and steer clear of “price-only” based competition’.

He continued: ‘The LL-T1810A will be the professional’s choice and this is the market segment we are focusing on. We want to remain in the quality niche and continue to provide margin rich products for our channel partners. This commitment to quality will be confirmed with the introduction of further high-end, high specification monitors later this year’.
