Spatial Light Modulator LC2002

A new 'Plug & Play LCD device' has been developed by HoloEye GmbH for prototyping and research in various fields such as machine vision, digital holography or technical optics. The LC2002 device contains a Sony SVGA (800x600 pixels) LCD and driver electronics in a compact box. It runs using a standard personal computer with the device plugged directly to the VGA graphic card. All relevant image parameters can be controlled by the comfortable software which is delivered with the kit. High transmitance and contrast of the Sony LC panel guarantee an excellent image quality. The LC2002 can be delivered as amplitude and also as phase modulating device.
