New Online Platform for Liquid Crystals Today
We are pleased to communicate details of an exciting development in our online publication services. On Tuesday 29 May, the new electronic platform created for Liquid Crystals Today went live and members of the society were contacted by email (where an email address was available). This platform will now replace our existing online arrangements. The new services will provide considerably enhanced functionality and ease of use. Please note if you bookmarked the page you may need to update this link.
Key features include:
• Full alerting services available via email or RSS data feed where users will be given the option to sign up to receive a range of alerts including:
o Content alerts
o Search alerts
o Citation alerts
• Advanced searching functionality (including a “search within this publication” feature on homepages).
• Personalized features such as saved searches, marked lists, alerting.
• Support for supplementary data and multimedia files.
To ensure a smooth transition for all, we have provided a voucher by email to all members, which they will use to claim access to the content on our new site. Members will need to register on the site and choose a new username and password.
