Professor Sadashiva and Dr Dierking Receive the 2009 Medals of the British Liquid Crystal Society

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to research in the field of liquid crystal science and technology, Professor Sadashiva was awarded the G.W. Gray Medal. This award normally recognises senior scientists making seminal research contributions of international quality.

Liquid Crystal Today Editor, Dr Dierking was awarded the C. Hilsum Medal for overall contributions to liquid crystal science and technology. The award is normally made to more senior scientists for significant contributions to the subject for a number of years.
